Air Fryer Miso Salmon

This savory-sweet miso salmon is full of bold flavor and comes together effortlessly in the air fryer. Marinated in a mix of miso, ginger, garlic, and a touch of sweetness, the salmon turns tender with perfectly crisp edges. Serve it over rice and top with sesame seeds and green onions for a simple, satisfying meal.
Ingredients

1 (1-inch) piece fresh ginger

1 clove garlic

2 tbsp white miso paste

1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

2 tsp toasted sesame oil

¼ plus ⅛ tsp kosher salt, divided

Pinch of fresh ground black pepper

2 (6-ounce) salmon filets
Pro tip: Serve over rice. Sprinkle sesame seeds and diagonally chopped spring onions over the salmon.
Instructions

Peel and finely grate the ginger and garlic.

In a bowl, combine ginger, garlic, miso paste, syrup/honey, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk to make the marinade.

Add salmon fillets, skin-side up, and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Remove from fridge and let come to room temperature.

Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 8–12 minutes until desired doneness.
